I have been doodling away tho! On my lokimotives tumblr account. But faffed up and made a DA for it as well, like, weeks before DA announced we could FINALLY change account names dammit. Ah well! Maybe I should pull them all over here...change this name...IDK. First world probs HAHA.

It stands about 3.5meters tall... too tall for my room.. HAHA... so I rolled the bottom quarter up. Totally dwarfs my Izaya figurine It doesn't matter where you stand in the room... his gaze is on you!!! Looking DOWN on you. AHAHAHAH
(and the best thing is I can paw him on a daily basis) EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Man, there's some amazing artists out there (well DUH lol), but what I really love about some? Their admirable work ethics! I gotta steal me some of those.

A few in particular really motivate me. They are highly disciplined and strive to drag out the best in themselves (and others around them imo). Constantly working to improve some aspect of their works, they do hundreds of sketches that never see the light of day. Only high quality teasers and the best works get posted. They also demand so much from themselves that they don't like reusing old work and would rather redraw it. Argh, not to mention that their stuff is so clean and charismatic - I wanna make simple look awesome! haha

I on the other hand overload my compositions and just end up posting any old shit HAHA. I gotta stop treating DA as a dump site LOL. While I don't mind posting silly sketches for amusement, I should at least try to either scrap/remove them later on or refine them in some way if I think they're worth extra time.

Besides, some of the best things occasionally come from repeated attempts at the same ambition. Either that or it makes for great "rehearsal" of better things to come. With that said, I got a lot of work to try over the next years LOL.

Getting a DD was crazy (unbelievable!!) fun! Thanks to all for the super sweet comments It's motivated me to do MORE lil paintings EHEHEE

I'm working on a lil' Howl and another Ginko at the mo, but am open to suggestions of whom else I could paint. Any anime/manga/game hotties you can think to recommend?? XDXD Not opposed to girls either HAHA. Just not OC's unless you're commissioning me, coz I'll wanna put the paintings up for sale at some point

Now, I saw someone do a kiriban pic the other day and realised, "Hey! I can do one too!" SO, if anyone happens to catch my 10,000th (and first ever) page view Kiriban, I'll draw and colour you whatever character you want. As to what I DO with the character, is up to me HAHA
